Research

I am interested in working with the TurtleBot as a mobile platform for a low-cost indoor air quality sensor. However, since the TurtleBot sits very low to the ground, the data collected at that height might not really represent the air we breathe or the conditions that affect human comfort. That’s why I want to design a new sensor base that positions the sensors at a more relevant height. The challenge for me will be creating something lightweight yet strong enough to support the electronics while also minimizing vibration during the TurtleBot’s movement. By the end of the project, my goal is to actually build the final design and test it to show that it performs well.
