Research

My research interest lies at the interface of learning-based control and robotic systems. My master's work was focused on applying reinforcement learning to optimize motor commands exploring variable stiffness caudal fins on a bioinspired robotic swimmer.

My doctoral work focuses on enhancing digital twin accuracy by improving sensing and estimation on medical and industrial robotic systems. I strive to design and program robotic systems to alleviate human effort and elevate quality of life.
